Rental Policies
Please review these policies before completing your reservation.
5 DAY MINIMUM ON ALL RESERVATIONS, RESERVATIONS UNDER 5 DAYS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CANCELED.
Damage responsibility and insurance
When you rent your vehicle through Aloha Rent a Car you are responsible and ensuring it is returned in the same condition that it was at the start of the rental. In the off chance that any damage should occur, you will be liable for the amount of damage including your insurance deductible. If you purchased our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW $26.95/ day) you MUST have proof of liability insurance, or we will not rent to you! If you have NO car insurance, we cannot rent to you!
Return time and airport drop-off fee
Our Office closes at 4pm, vehicle rentals returned after 3:30pm will have an airport drop off fee of $30.00. Click Option, Under Options and Coverage. Please call our office if you have any questions regarding this fee.
Renter age
Renters or additional drivers under 25 will be charged a $10.00 a day surcharge on top of the daily rate. Aloha Rent a Car does not rent or add additional drivers under the age of 21.
Cancellation policy
We have a one-week cancellation policy, reservations canceled within the week of the reservation will be subject to a $30.00 cancellation fee.
Payment, refunds, insurance proof, and local deposits
All reservation balances are due in full upon arrival. No refund for early departure or late arrival fees. Renters must have a valid major credit card under their name or proof of full coverage insurance on a personal vehicle under their name. Debit card rentals may be accepted when the renter satisfies the insurance-proof requirements and payment details are confirmed before pickup. We require proof of full coverage insurance (declaration page/ insurance card). We also require a $500.00 deposit for all local renters.
